It features a generous 82mm opening and ingenious O-shaped 'flip gate' that allows you to feed in whole apples and bigger pieces of other fruit and veg, as well as an aperture in the top of the gate for whole carrots and leafy greens—eliminating the need to use a pusher. (Note that fibrous ingredients like celery and ginger should but cut into smaller pieces before adding.)
