Product Details
In 1954, Bamix made the first blender and food processor designed to go directly into the pot or bowl with your ingredients, skipping the need to juggle between containers. Most stick blenders have two main parts that attach: the top has the motor and the bottom has the wand you can immerse. The Bamix, on the other hand, contains just one unit that’s fixed together, and the only parts you have to attach are the various blades at the very end. This makes a Bamix more stable, and you can immerse the wand deeper, all the way to the handle. It also makes it easier to clean, since no liquids get stuck between the parts. The interface is easy to use, with two speeds: low (12,000 rpm) and high (17,000 rpm). Handmade in Switzerland, every Bamix comes with a lifetime warranty on the motor, and the rest is easily replaceable.
This Bamix Deluxe 200W Hand Blender has three blade attachments: multi-purpose (soups, smoothes), beater (whipped cream, egg whites), and whisk (mayonnaise, salad dressing, spices, coffee). This set includes a separate grinder attachment, which you can use to grind hard spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper, as well as fresh and dried herbs. It also includes a freestanding holder.
Fitted with a UK plug (220-240V).
Why we love it
'My Bamix never gets too warm or makes scary 'rattling' noises, and keeps splatter to a minimum. It’s the stick blender all others try to replicate (but can’t).'
