Product Details
Zwiesel is highly regarded across the hospitality industry as leaders in fine glassware for wine and spirits. Their lead- and barium-free glassware is made in Germany using a high-temperature production process that tempers the glass to make it strong while maintaining a clear, brilliant sheen. The machine-made Vervino series is marked by thin-walled bowls, refined stems and wide bottom plates, elements suggested by expert sommeliers to bring out the bouquet of different grape varieties. This chardonnay glass, which comes in a set of two, has an effervescence point and high-drawn glass shape that adds a special sparkle to any white wine. The unusually high light refraction gives chardonnays a special golden hue, while rich aromas can fully unfold in the stately width and tapered bowl. The glass makes white wines appear particularly smooth and round.

Unique water-circuiting technology and the use of recycled materials records 30% less energy consumption compared to conventional gas-air-heated glass melting tanks. The workmanship is so specialised that you can tell a glass is made by Zwiesel from the way it sounds when clinked.
