Product Details

Made in Portugal since 1951, Silampos pans anticipate the needs of home cooks. This stockpot features a sandwich base that allows for use on all hobs including induction. This construction heats food uniformly and retains that heat well. The oversized handles make it easy to manoeuvre and a curved rim prevents liquids from trailing along the side of the pan when pouring. The tight-fitting lid includes a tall and wide handle that’s easy to lift. This stockpot is oven-compatible up to 200C and dishwasher-safe, though hand-washing will extend its durability. Ideal for cooking pasta or boiling vegetables, this stockpot includes an insert that lifts away for instant draining. Separately, the insert can be used as a colander, while the pot can be used for soups, stews, and more.

Why we love it

'Silampos pans are full of little details that let me focus on the food, not the vessel; like the curved rim that stops sauce from dripping and the wide-handled lid that’s easy to grasp, especially if you’re holding a tea towel.'
