The UK is home to some of the best seafood in the world, and is a major exporter of shellfish to Japan and squid to the Mediterranean – yet we rarely see it on our own dinner tables. Our class will help change that, giving you all the understanding and confidence to make it a regular part of your culinary repertoire. From sourcing to shucking, seasons to seasoning, we cover everything you need to master British shellfish and molluscs. We will make hand-dived scallops served in shell with a delicate sauce Veronique, before moving on to Asian-inspired mussels and prawns in broth, finishing with a simple, flavourful warm squid salad with orzo and rocket – all enjoyed with a complimentary glass of wine.

Think this class would make a perfect gift? We do too – that's why we offer Cook School Gift Cards, for one or two guests, in paper and digital formats.

Age Restriction: 18+, or 16+ accompanied by an adult also attending the class
