Product Details
The Opinel Vegetable Knife, also known as a peeling knife, features a razor-sharp 'bird’s beak' blade that’s perfect for peeling, trimming, cutting vegetables and fruits as well as and making decorative cuts. The curved blade lets you cut close close to the peel or rind without stripping away the nutrients just below the surface. The serrated scraper on the opposite side of the blade is great for scraping off dirt or blemishes. The high-quality beech wood handle is comfortable to hold and has been covered in a protective varnish to make it water-resistant.

About The Brand
Opinel
Joseph Opinel began producing knives in a French town called Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne in 1890. By the early 20th century, Opinel had already become a household name—one that is synonymous with exceptionally practical knives for everyday and specialist kitchen use. Today the company is run by Joseph Opinel’s great grandsons, and all their products are still made in France. Featuring natural wooden handles, precision-shaped blades, and signature safety locking mechanisms, these knives are crafted for a lifetime of daily use.
