Product Details
Opinel's signature folding knife is an ideal tool for cutting fruit, cheese, and other foods when camping or on a picnic. This special version includes an embedded corkscrew, making the knife even more versatile, without taking up any extra space. The 10cm blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel, which is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives excellent cutting edge. The beech wood handle with a bottle opener at the end is comfortable to hold, and has been covered in a protective varnish to make it moisture-resistant. The Virobloc safety ring, or safety twist lock, allows the blade to be locked in either the open or closed position.

About The Brand
Opinel
Joseph Opinel began producing knives in a French town called Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne in 1890. By the early 20th century, Opinel had already become a household name—one that is synonymous with exceptionally practical knives for everyday and specialist kitchen use. Today the company is run by Joseph Opinel’s great grandsons, and all their products are still made in France. Featuring natural wooden handles, precision-shaped blades, and signature safety locking mechanisms, these knives are crafted for a lifetime of daily use.
