Made by Arte in Olivo, a family-run company that has manufactured kitchen tools and furniture from Italian olivewood since 1952, this board is designed specially for cutting bread. The surface is slatted, and underneath is a tray for catching crumbs. To clear crumbs, simply lift the top portion away rom the board and wipe away. Olivewood is known for its warm hue and strong contrasting grain pattern, as well its density and fine texture. With proper care, it will last a lifetime.
