Product Details
Mauviel M'Cook pans are the best of the best for many reasons. Every part of this pan, right up to its rim, has five layers of metal: outer layers of 18/10 stainless steel for induction hob–compatibility and easy clean-up, plus three inner layers of heat-responsive aluminium. The middle layer of that aluminium is pure, meaning there is no adhesive agent in it that slightly weakens its power. The layers distribute heat quickly and evenly. The comfortable, recessed handle is designed to mould to your thumb and stays cool as you cook. High-quality steel that’s polished on the outside but brushed on the inside, and a curved rim allows drip-free pouring. This splayed saute pan has straight rather than curved sides that slant towards the base, which helps sauces, stews, and other foods with high liquid content reduce beautifully.
Mauviel M’Cook pans, including handles, are polished and finished by hand; this may result in minor abrasions or scuffs. These are considered normal and do not have any impact on performance or durability.
While M’Cook pans are dishwasher-safe, please note that dishwasher detergents that contain harsh chemicals such as potassium are abrasive to the aluminium edge on the rims of these pans. This can cause the edge to feel sharp over time, but does not affect performance.

Why we love it
'The wider surface area lets you toss small vegetables like Brussels sprouts around the pan, and the smaller base lets you reduce caramelise onions until they are nice and jammy.'
