Product Details

The world of gluten-free baking can be overwhelming: rice flour or gram flour; xanthan gum or psyllium husk; potato starch or tapioca starch? During our three-hour course, you’ll be led by a trained chef in understanding gluten-free flour options, binders and rising agents. In this class you'll learn to make a decadent courgette loaf, perfectly chewy chocolate chip cookies, and a gluten-free shortcrust pastry tart filled with creme patisserie – an excellent base for any gluten-free tart. After the class you will be able to blend your very own gluten-free flour mixture. No more dry or crumbly cakes! Please note: This class takes place in a facility where gluten is present (used for other classes).

Think this class would make a perfect gift? We do too – that's why we offer Cook School Gift Cards, for one or two guests, in paper and digital formats.
