Made in the UK: A Guide to Premium British Cookware & Tableware
Our collection celebrates the finest UK manufacturing traditions, bringing together heritage ironmongers, London bladesmiths, and small-batch ceramicists.
Netherton Foundry
Netherton Foundry crafts spun iron cookware in Shropshire, the historic heartland of British ironworking. By spinning pure iron sheets, they create pans with the exceptional searing capabilities and heat retention of cast iron or carbon steel pans, but at a significantly lighter weight. The workshop prioritizes regional sourcing, using British-made rivets and oiling machines with the rapeseed oil harvested in Shropshire. Every pan comes pre-seasoned with all-natural flax oil, creating a durable cooking surface that improves with age and use. Compatible with all hobs, including induction, these pans are built to last for generations.

Blenheim Forge Hand-Forged Knives
Operating under a railway arch in Peckham, South London, Blenheim Forge specialises in Japanese-style carbon steel knives that are lovingly crafted by hand. In our exclusive collections, Original and Full Tang, Blenheim Forge uses a core of premium Japanese blue paper steel, also known as Aogami super blue steel. This carbon steel core is clad with rust-proof stainless steel up to the blade’s edge, making the knife much easier to maintain. (The exposed carbon steel edge simply needs to be dried thoroughly after washing and wiped with a light coat of food-safe oil every now and then to keep it rust-free.) Their incredible skill and attention to detail ensures superior edge retention, allowing the knives to stay super-sharp for long stretches of time.
We carry this collection across two exclusive, distinct ranges, both featuring wood handles sustainably sourced from fallen trees within London's M25. The Original range features comfortable, octagonal walnut handles securely attached to the blades with a copper ferrule. Crafted to feel stable to hold and provide exceptional balance, the unique corners of the handle also help guide your hand to finding the correct 15° sharpening angle when using a whetstone.
What sets the Full Tang knife range apart is the ergonomic handle shape designed in the tradition of European knives. It features copper rivets and a full tang (exposed metal along the handle) to show the knife is made from a single piece of steel. This construction offers an ultra-secure grip, an incredibly controlled feel when chopping, and excellent blade-to-handle balance.

Silverwood Bakeware
Manufactured in Birmingham since the 1960s, Silverwood Bakeware produces professional-grade baking tins, sheets, and moulds. They use a signature silver-anodised aluminium, which offers exceptional thermal conductivity. This material ensures rapid and uniform heat distribution, eliminating hot spots and ensuring that baked goods cook evenly from the outer edge to the center. The anodised surface possesses a unique property that actively seasons with every use, naturally enhancing its food-release capabilities over time. Completely rust-resistant and structurally rigid, these Birmingham-crafted tools are built to withstand decades of high-heat baking.

Blok Outdoor Table Grills
Made by hand in their Derby workshop, Blok makes premium barbecues and barbecue accessories inspired by Japanese konro grills. Each unit features a ceramic (vermiculite) lining for excellent heat retention, paired with adjustable airflow vents that let you control the temperature of the barbecue. Constructed with a robust stainless steel or mild steel exterior, these compact and versatile grills are artisanal products built to last a lifetime. The ultra-durable grill top is made from high-carbon mild steel, which retains high levels of heat for perfect searing and becomes even better with time as it seasons naturally.

Kaymet
Kaymet has been handcrafting classic anodised aluminium serving trays and trolleys in South London since 1947. These trays combine a clean mid-century aesthetic with lightweight structural rigidity. The metal undergoes a treatment that embeds a smooth, durable finish directly into the aluminium, making it water and stain-resistant. They have won multiple awards and hold a Royal Warrant for supplying the British royal family homes. Their trays are an icon of British design, and wonderful for cooks who love home entertaining.
Finch & Crane
Based in Stoke-on-Trent, the historic center of British pottery, Finch & Crane crafts functional countertop essentials like salt pigs, garlic keepers, and spoon rests. The designs feature a raw, unglazed exterior for a tactile texture, paired with a smooth, fully glazed interior that prevents food, odor, or moisture retention. Molded from thick, high-quality earthenware, these products have a reassuring weight that keeps them stable on your counter. They are chip-resistant and easy to clean.
Mihaly & Edit Porcelain
Mihaly & Edit creates porcelain nesting bowls and dinnerware made by hand in South London. These ceramics are fired at exceptionally high vitrification temperatures, altering the molecular structure of the porcelain to create a dense, robust finish. This process makes the bowls highly resistant to edge-chipping and durable enough for daily handling and machine washing.
HAND Studio Ceramics
Hand-thrown in small batches in North London, HAND Studio Ceramics specialises in contemporary serving bowls. Crafted from a distinct flecked stoneware clay, no two pieces are identical. They feature narrow footed bases and fluid glaze patterns inspired by British tidal waters. Their spouted matcha bowls make excellent gifts.
Babel Organic Beeswax Candles
Hand-poured in London and exclusive to Borough Kitchen, Babel organic candles naturally purify the air and have achieved Soil Association Certified Organic status, making them one of just two companies in the UK to do so. Made with sustainability in mind, they feature a clean-burning blend of organic beeswax and coconut oil paired with a natural wood wick that softly crackles and ensures a straight, even burn. To let the true, complex fragrances shine, Babel uses 100% natural oils and extracts with absolutely no synthetic fragrances, synthetic fertilisers, or pesticides.
Babel houses its candles in lightweight, food-safe stainless steel vessels that are laser-engraved to entirely avoid the use of plastic or stickers. Endlessly recyclable but much lighter than glass to help bring down the carbon footprint during delivery, these durable containers are designed to be kept and reused. Once the candle is completely finished and washed out, the vessel can be replenished with a candle refill or repurposed as a unique water tumbler, tea vessel, or whiskey glass.

Earl of East Candles
Hand-poured in East London, Earl of East candles blend premium botanical oils to create complex aromas inspired by places around the world, from Japan to Portugal. They use soy wax paired with cotton wicks to ensure a clean, soot-free burn that maintains an excellent scent throw. Because soy wax melts at a lower temperature than paraffin, these candles offer a slow, uniform, and long-lasting burn time. Housed in recyclable amber glass apothecary jars, they look beautiful too.
